Engineering & Design

Our Engineering & Design team is made up of designers, structural and mechanical engineers, coordinators, 3D modelers and technical CAD/BIM specialists. They will work with our Preconstruction, Manufacturing and Project & Field Management teams, as well as architects and outside vendors, to create cost effective façade solutions for your project.

To augment our Harmon team, we also partner with qualified, experienced, and industry leading national production and structural engineering services companies to provide a comprehensive approach to every project.

Two Brands Become One

In August 2021, Apogee Enterprises, Inc. announced a plan to integrate its Sotawall business with Harmon to create one brand within its Architectural Services segment. Significant progress has been made to bring these two teams together, merging operational excellence with world-class engineering capabilities.

Mock-up Training

Our Mock-up Training is designed to emulate significant phases of an actual project in a learning and development atmosphere. Participants are given the opportunity to learn, first-hand, processes for drawing review, material ordering, means and methods, safety and quality planning. At a testing lab, participants are asked to assemble, install and performance test their curtain wall units.
